CSR

GR Group believes that caring for the environment is a crucial task to achieve sustainability. To achieve sustainability we work on two fronts:

A) Solid Waste Management
B) Awareness

Solid Waste Management

Owing to its nature of business, a lot of fly ash is produced in our manufacturing units. We transfer this fly ash to various brick making units which use it as a raw material. We also have tie-ups with cement manufacturers who consume fly ash on a large scale as a critical raw material for their manufacturing plants.

Awareness

The Group conducts regular tree plantation drives and also support various local bodies and organisations in their afforestation initiatives in all possible ways.

The trust is involved in supporting a host of colleges, dharamshalas & schools and supports them with various monetary as well as non-monetary inputs.

We understand the importance of education and support deserving students in their quest for knowledge. We also support various initiatives like providing pure drinking water to many schools.

Health Care Camps

We believe that health is the real wealth. We organise health care events within our plants and in nearby areas regularly in the form of blood donation camps, diabetes workshops, eye-care camps etc. We even distribute free medicine to the needy.

Emphasis On The Education Of Girl-Child

The group’s founder Late Shri Ganpatrai Agarwal believed that educating a girl child is the first step in educating the entire family. It was with this idea that the Maharaja Agrasen International College was established in 2009. Today, the co-ed college has become the preferred educational institution of bright students and is the only college that has a higher girl-student ratio.
