With 6 manufacturing plants spread across the states of Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra, GR Group has emerged as one of the fastest growing steel producer in the India. Starting with just steel rolling mill, today the group is rated as one the best integrated steel producers in India with well-diversified interests that go beyond steel.
The Group is involved in the manufacture of Sponge Iron, Ferro Alloys, Cast Iron and value added products like MS Ingots, rerolled products and SGCI Inserts. We have not only created efficient work processes to manufacture high quality steel, but have also developed new techniques in sourcing of raw material and delivering the finished products.

Sponge Iron
A critical raw material for the steel industry.
Sponge iron is the key raw material required to manufacture high quality steel. It is quite versatile and can be used in both induction as well as electric arc furnaces. GR Group has an installed capacity of producing over 220 MT of Sponge iron annually.

With two group companies dedicated to produce high quality Silico Manganese Ferro Alloys, GR Group serve as a reliable ally for many domestic as well as international steel makers. International exposure helps us incorporate international best practices too!
MS Ingot
MS Ingots act as a raw material for rolling mills and also for making TMT Bars. GR Group produces pencil sized MS Ingots which find application in many steel mills across the country and also internationally.

Re-rolled Products & SGCI Insert
Spheroidal Graphite Cast Iron (SGCI) inserts are embedded in concrete sleepers to hold the steel rails tracks on the top firmly in place. With an installed capacity of over 50 Lakh inserts per annum, we are a proud partner to the Indian Railways.
Power
Besides steel, GR Group also generates over 70,000 MWH of electricity.
This electricity is used for in-house consumption across all group companies. This makes us very cost effective vis-à-vis competition.
Cast Iron
Also known as crude iron, Cast Iron forms an intermediary for the iron industry. Cast Iron is a crucial raw material to make steel and is in great demand across the world. GR Group is a trusted partner to many domestic and international steel companies.
